Marrying old and new - my vintage fixation

I have always had a modern vintage fixation with objects.  I was super privileged to inherit my granny's emboya couches. They looked like this when I got them:

I got some material printed which I told you guys about before. Then I didn't know how I was going to pay for the upholstery, but I saved money and towards the end of last year I had enough.

I absolutely love this yellow and grey print. I think it's a beautiful marriage between old and new. So here's the finished project!

Next up is my L-shape couch, bye bye brown and hello grey.  Watch this space, will tell you all about it when it's done.
