Miss Matched Mugspiration

I have 2 x purple mugs from Clicks and 3 x white mugs from Mr Price in my home to use for hot beverages.  Anyone who knows me will know that I have a slight obsession with making sure that either everything matches or that I have a few of the same item.  I have no miss matched cutlery or crockery.  Any glass that's odd gets given away.  I have been frustrated about my mug situation, as I was left with a few mugs that's survived out of two different sets.  This doesn't make me happy.

So I have been looking for over a year for cool mugs in local home ware stores.  I also want them at a reasonable price, as mugs can break quickly and it's not really something I want to spend a lot of money on.  In this year I haven't found anything remotely close to what I had in mind.  I don't like the generic mug and the shape of the mug is very important to me too.  It shouldn't be too big or too small.  It should be a cool design and I should be stoked to drink my coffee out of these mugs every day.

So I have been looking for some mugspiration on Pinterest and found the following that lead me to the idea of getting a whole lot of miss matched mugs with edgy / vintage designs on.

The answer to my mug predicament?  Minerton Flea Market. It's best to go on Saturdays and the last one had great weather, so I went.  Be sure to take a jersey, as it's quite windy that side of the world.  I was in my element here, smiling from ear to ear, looking at all the treasures!  If you go alone, why not pop in your earphones and listen to my latest Natsnotfazed mix?

I found 6 x photo frames that I paid R50 for!  I'm going to use these for the photos of my Eurotrip that I printed of the Doorporn, Graffiti and Feet.

I found only two mugs for my Miss Matched Mug collection this time round, but I will go back and hunt for more!  My mug finds:

R5 for this blue mug, love the colour, shape and size

R10 for this gold mug, love everything about it!  Had my first cup of coffee out of it this morning and it tasted delicious.

I think theses two look quite good together, for a pair of miss matched mugs!
